Take-back information

Take-back in Europe for products, batteries, packaging

The aim of recycling is to gain an environmental benefit by means of re-use, reconditioning or reclamation of material. Dedicated recycling sites ensure that environmentally harmful components are properly handled and securely disposed. Toshiba and its partners have contracted competent service providers to ensure the best recycling of our products.

The information below reflects our current status of information, April 1, 2008 and is valid for TOSHIBA TEC products sold by TOSHIBA TEC Europe Retail Information Systems respectively its subsidiaries, branches and distributors in the respective country. The mentioned compliance schemes represent not necessarily all existing schemes in the related country.

Belgium

Products

In Belgium, customers can return their old equipment to TERIS Belgium (Brussels region).
Customers in Flanders and the Walloon region can return it to COOLREC.

Batteries

In Belgium, the national collection and recycling program of spent batteries is organized by Bebat. Toshiba customers can dispose of their used batteries free of charge at their local municipality or they can return their used batteries at retail locations where batteries are sold. Packaging

In Belgium, the national collection and recycling program for packaging is organized by Val-I-Pac. Toshiba customers can dispose of their packaging waste at local packaging collection points or in dedicated disposal bins available in some municipalities. Luxembourg

Products

In Luxembourg, TOSHIBA TEC is represented by RMS.
WEEE registration number is: MA 0114
The national collection and recycling program for IT equipment is called Ecotrel.
